I'm a Class Rating Instructor with FCL.945 privileges based in the East Midlands UK

SEP & LAPL(a) Revalidation
I'm able to revalidate your SEP and LAPL (a) ratings on your aircraft, the "1 hour of flight training with an instructor".  After the one hour flight I can sign your SEP and set the new expiry date, and for LAPL sign your logbook as part of the rolling 24-month validity.

Differences Training
Differences Training is a mandatory requirement before operating as P1 in an aircraft that include any of the specified "Official Differences" categories. Training must be performed by a Flying Instructor (FI) or Class Rating Instructor (CRI) who already has that "difference" signed off themselves. There is no set time or hours required for a sign-off. It is down to the instructor being satisfied and confident in the Pilot's abilities to operate the aircraft safely.

I'm able to instruct for the Sailplane Towing Rating and offer the following differences training

1.       VP - Variable Pitch Propeller

2.       Retractable Undercarriage

3.       Turbo/Superchargers

4.       EFIS - Electronic Flight Information Systems **

5.       Tailwheel


**An electronic presentation of the primary flight instruments (the 6 pack) requires differences training, G1, G5, Dynon, Aspen, etc. are all EFIS displays. Reference: CAP 804 Section 4 Part H, subpart 1 page 15 (Page 277)
